I’ve been thinking a lot about connectedness in my recent work, especially in the most everyday of terms. How within these unremarkable moments that manifest between the more colorful, and dynamic events we typically highlight our days, are ephemeral reminders of the ultimate human desires: to love, be loved, be heard, be a part of something, be in touch with someone or something. In this way, connection is an act, whether that is to others, friends, family, our culture, our history, or to ourselves.
