From a printmaker's perspective, it's a magnificent edition and the works are emblematic of screen printing's strengths: strong, flat colors applied in large, flat fields with crisp edges that form a composition at first deceptively simple yet not unlike a puzzle in its actual complexity. Adrian's saturated colors and flat shapes with hard edges made for an ideally designed screenprint. Fitting the shapes together into a print presented a challenging production process but the destination was were worth traveling the road to get there.
