Over the past year, I've been enjoying the idea of painting "figurative" work without the presence of actual figures. More specifically, how the evidence of our interactions, rather than us and the action itself, provides the same narrative element: an account of a before and after, of the things we choose to keep and, subsequently, things we care for.
About the Artist
Adrian Kay Wong explores interpersonal dynamics and the inherent narrative elements of everyday iconography within his hard-edged representational paintings.
