Scanning the horizon for words, sounds, and spaces that can hold the wild edges, I found great company in decades-old UK rock and roll. Punchy, melodic, political, romantic, these were proper containers for my disparate energies. I believe Oliver Sacks, beloved neuroscientist, noted that music allows us a space to feel solace and consolation amidst great pain and grief. These pieces aim to be scenic captures of the wild edges, soothed and acknowledged.
