This work is part of my most recent collection 'Soft Hours'. When making these works, I experienced a shift from trying to hold everything together towards allowing things to open up. I began thinking about what it means to make a home again, to see the world, and to notice the small things that bring joy or meaning back into everyday life. The Australian bush near my home became an important part of that shift, its quietness, resilience and constant cycles of growth and change drawing me back into the world around me and reminding me to pay attention to what is around me.
