Using a large-format camera, Millee re-photographs her own prints taken across the American desert. Cut into geometric shapes and arranged within a grid that mirrors forms drawn on the camera’s ground glass viewfinder, the images are mapped in reverse, collapsing distance and perspective to reveal the distortions inherent in photographic production, representation, and the act of seeing.
