I can’t help but to continually look for and attach meaning to the natural world. These works are little homages to fleeting moments where I’ve observed something in nature that I long to hold on to, even after the moment has passed. Weaving these shapes is a comforting practice that helps me give a defined physical presence to amorphous ideas surrounding joy, loss, tenderness, and distant memory.
