I've drawn these forms for years. It's a very meditative practice to watch them grow and morph before my eyes. I think of them as containers of unseen or unexplainable energy, each one is it's own entity and an expression of worldly things what can't quite be described in words. This newest series is a group of drawings on Japanese Kozo paper. I use etching ink rolled out very thinly on a glass palette, place the paper on top, and draw on the back. The resulting image on the front is a transfer drawing from the paper being pushed into the ink by the pencil drawing on the back.
