This picture is really about the sweatshirt; I always tell people it's the best thing the gift shop sells. It has a real presence and a great look. I loved the idea of painting the sweatshirt on paper that already had the words typed out nicely... it really brings out the hand-made qualities of the picture. On top of that, the sitter, an architect, is sitting in this super modern chair... it's a whole vibe. My favorite part is the twinkle he has in his eye, made with a small piece of foil.
