This work is part of a new series which are based on recent film photos I've taken. This practice has allowed me to “see” what’s around me in a completely different way, to notice things I otherwise wouldn’t and be constantly present and observant. I love to capture everyday, mundane sights that are ephemeral in nature and see them transformed into compositions and ideas for my work. It’s exactly like that quote by Andy Warhol “you need to let the little things that would bore you suddenly thrill you”.
