Rendezvous is a french word that means 'a meeting at an agreed time and place, typically between two people'. For me, rendezvous is the moment right before a true connection, like eye contact. In these works, the two shapes almost touch each other on the canvas but they don't quite meet. I want to preserve those moments with this series.
