This group of paintings is inspired by my children's favorite stuffed animals. These deeply loved keepsakes are overlapped and interwoven in the paintings to conjure up childhood memories. Soft and crumpled through years of use, these once ordinary objects take on mystical powers.
About the Artist
Diana Delgado's paintings emphasize ambiguity and process - a paint stroke on her canvas could create a sense of rhythm as easily as it could describe the contour of an object.
