Almost everyday before going into the studio, I take my dog Ruby to New Brighton Park on my way in. The park is on the Vancouver Harbour, which is connected to the inlet so you can see the tide fluctuate from day to day. It's something I never would have really given much thought to before having a dog, but since we are there almost every day, exploring the shoreline and walking along the rocks I started to take note. This piece is a tribute to the act of taking notice, or connecting with the natural world on a regular basis.
