Water and sky themes loom large in the most recent body of work, which feel even more relevant in this time of great change and uncertainty. The title for this series was inspired by the Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hahn's teaching on clouds as ever evolving forms. While I was creating this body of work I found myself tracing the evolution of clouds: from rain, to creeks, to vapor, tea, tears, ocean, and back to rain. The poetry of phenomena from the natural world merging with human life and experience reminds me that I contain the earth just as the earth contains me.
