Part of an ongoing series of assemblage works, these pieces consist of cut and painted wood pieces that are arranged and glued together into their compositions. The colors shift from greens to oranges in this piece, and takes its inspiration from the transition between our seasons. The title is a reference to when leaves change colour in the fall - it is the steady increase in the length of night which eventually signals the breakdown of chlorophyll in the leaves.
