In this series, I explore the relationship between color, texture, and shape through dyed and sewn raw silk. Each piece is a meditation on the organic interaction of dye with the natural fibers of silk, resulting in fluid patterns that show spontaneity while the dye settles and spreads in unexpected ways. The sewn shapes introduce a contrasting element, combining the softness of the silk with the rigid, deliberate lines of sewing. This interplay creates a visual dialogue between disorder and structure, mirroring the complexities of the inherent energy and chaos of my personal life. Through this work, I aim to capture moments of introspection and contentment, curiosity, and wonder, offering a visual retreat from the stress of the outside world.
