My recent body of work turns my focus to the landscape. Each painting within the series comprises an image of a found environment sourced through various discarded printed matter. The geographical location of the imagery is indeterminate, providing a universal landscape shifting between tight crops of garden beds and large open expanses. The inability to ground these spaces is what makes for an inclusive image, a space of comfort and escape.
