Index of Function (Traces) Natalie Beall
$1,200
Natalie's collages represent prospects for new objects - they serve as open-ended learning tools, nameless storage devices, and implements that hover between utility and fantasy.

This is the simplest and most direct of all of the collagraphs. I took some cardboard packing material from a box, and spread it out over the plate so that it would create a pattern. It felt very freeing to print a material directly and know that it was enough. I love the way that dimension and contrast were created merely from inking found material and running it through the press.
