I'm really interested in creating a line or boundary that exists solely due to the different qualities on either side of said line. "Horse Feathers" is an exploration of this treatment of mark-making, where a phantom square sits in twp-dimensional space, oscillating between foreground and background.

Devon Reina is an artist and designer interested in the way that simple marks of color can interact with each other to suggest the illusion of depth, movement, or direction.
