My focus has been on HOME, whatever form that may take. The perspective of looking down on rooftops, without any reference to people, roads, cars, etc leaves a gap into which the viewer must step, to complete the picture, As always I enjoy playing with withholding visual information, implying detail and therefore bringing more attention to some of the visual clue that we usually don't notice while rushing around doing our lives.
About the Artist
Gabrielle Raaff explores figurative and architectural forms within the urban environment.
