My work is inspired by the changes in nature brought by spring and the cycles of change within ourselves. These paintings are a reflection on my personal childhood, memories that have stuck with me (listening to birds in the morning, staring endlessly at the sky, a scar that I can no longer find as an adult, trying to catch squirrels with my grandmother), and a feeling of nostalgia for home this spring. It is my intention for these paintings to help you remember a past version of yourself and show you how much you have grown and changed through the seasons.
