This piece is half of a whole. âButterfly Restâ is its counterpart. The figures in each piece face each other in silent conversation. They are opposite but alike, both acting as rests for what sits gently on their heads.
About the Artist
Through her figurative-yet-abstract and illustrative work, Jocelyn Tsaih strives to make sense of the human experience through her own perspective, utilizing a recurring amorphous figure meant to represent the universal soul.
