The Feathered series reflects my fascination with the structures and textures of avian plumage. Feather patterns combine lines and colors in overlapping layers. I hope to express the sense of wonder, awe, and delight they evoke in me.
About the Artist
Keiko Kamata approaches printmaking from a painterly perspective, using color and form to achieve a sense of weightless buoyancy.
