This painting was completed between July 2021 and November 2023. It acted as a catalog or visual journal. It was a way for me to jot down ideas for different explorations, studies in color, composition, material, etc. What I like about working with a longer time scale, in this case a year and a half, was that the end result of the painting really encapsulates a period of life and what captured my attention and curiosity during that time.
