After roaming through the northern New Mexico desert this past summer, I immediately saw the landscape through the lens of Georgia O'Keeffe, an iconic modernist painter of the 20th Century. The color, shape and forms both abstract and representational, were stunning. Influenced by the color palette of the New Mexico sky and landscape, and specific paintings in her oeuvre, were translated from my hand-written "Dear Georgia" letter into an indecipherable letter form.
