My recent paintings continue my inquiry into how and what can constitute a painting. In these new works, object and image sit alongside and through one another. Fragments of domesticity attempt to command space over the substrate, serving as windows into spaces, walls obstructing views, or glances from afar. A promenade of art historical tropes through the lens of a passerby.
